    Claim My Restaurant

    (Applies to any SmartCityName.CITY)

To claim your restaurant, your restaurant must already be listed in the website.  If your restaurant is not already listed, you should follow the instructions in List My Restaurant.  Before clicking the button to claim your restaurant, you first need to SIGN IN.  If you do not yet have a DigitalTown account, you will need to create one by clicking the REGISTER button, and then after you have registered a new DigitalTown account, you will be able to sign in.

Once you have signed in, you are then ready to click the "Claim My Restaurant" button from your restaurant's page found under RESTAURANTS.  You will then be taken to our "partner" website Smart.MENU where you will be able to continue claiming your restaurant.  You will also be presented with a "Tell us about your restaurant" screen.  You should confirm your restaurant's name, address, country, state, city, phone number, website URL if one is listed, as well as your preferred currency.  Since it will most likely not be listed, you will need to enter your Zip Code and the Email address for your restaurant.  Once you have confirmed and entered your information, click the "Claim Listing!" button.

You will now be provided with three membership choices; Basic (Free), Enhanced, and Enterprise.  Once you have made your selection, you will be asked to indicate "What domain name you would like to use?  If you already have a domain name for your restaurant, or if you do not want to have one, click the "I don't need a domain. Skip this step" link.  On the other hand, you now have an opportunity to purchase a unique name in the restaurant world -- .MENU -- and let the world know you are a restaurant.

If you would like to check and see if your restaurant name is still available, enter it where it provides the example, and click the search magnifying glass.  If it is still available, and you would like to purchase it, click the "Use This Domain" button and you will soon be able to direct your patrons to your new website ending in .MENU.  And the information you enter into the .CITY pages will match your website under .MENU -- no need to enter the information twice.

Or, if you do not want your .MENU website, you can still click the "I don't need a domain. Skip this step" link, and you will be taken to the "Almost Done" screen.  There you will be able to complete your subscription.
